What can I say? Over the past 18 months you

When I first rang you, in the Winter of 2009 I
was in big trouble. I was having crippling
neurological problems. I was finding it
difficult to construct a sentence, very hard to
follow what people said, and I couldn't text or
use a computer as it made things worse!
We had to start somewhere, so we started with my
inbox - a backlog of
over 300 e-mails to wade through. You helped me
compose all those
replies, an hour at a time, with patience and
intelligence.
Then we worked on other things...you helped me
sort out lots of aspects
of our house move, reorganised my e-mail
contacts, worked late to create
and send out party invitations on time, helped
me go through my overwhelming 'to do' list,
overhauled my address book, helped me write a
story for my children and systematically went
through my work in-tray.
You have always been cheerful, positive, dead on
time, 100% reliable,
incredibly resourceful, thoughtful, humorous and
full of fantastic
suggestions. I guess that my neurological
problems can't have made
me easy to work with! Somehow though you always
managed to stay patient, and kind, and
incredibly professional.

Bramhall Festival 2009 - Ex Chairman
The Bramhall Festival which was revived in 2008 really 'took off' and we were delighted with the response from the local residents, schools, businesses etc but this simply added additional pressure on the existing small band of volunteers and administratively we were stretched to the limit!
As editor of AboutMyArea/SK7 community website I came to know Girl Friday and it became very clear that we desperately needed the undoubted skills that Wendy Green had in abundance to take the Bramhall Festival to the next stage and we asked her to join the committee.
